Who we are and what this policy covers
Blockworks Salinas Concrete and Masonry is a masonry contractor in Salinas, CA, doing brick, block, stone and concrete work for homeowners in Salinas and the cities around it. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
It covers this website, starting from our home page, and the contact form linked from it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies. If you want to know more about who we are, our About page has that.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to share. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property where you want work done, and a description of the job, sometimes with photos.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it is stored by that service and passed on to us. We only ask for what we need to reply and give you an estimate, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some basic information when you visit. This can include your browser type, device type, the pages you looked at, how long you stayed, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your IP address.
We use cookies and similar tools for this. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember visits and count traffic. We use them to keep the site working and to understand which pages people find useful, not to build a profile of you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading and getting in touch, though some counts and preferences won't be saved.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your questions, set up an estimate, schedule and do the work, send invoices and follow up on a job. We use the automatic information to keep the site running, fix problems and see which pages help homeowners find what they need.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, like our website host, form service and analytics tools, and only so they can do that work for us. We'll also share it if the law requires it or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and job details for as long as we need them to answer you, do the work and keep the records a business has to keep for taxes, warranties and accounting. If you contacted us and we never did a job, we delete or stop using those details once they're no longer useful.
Analytics information is usually kept in summary form, and the tools that collect it hold it on their own schedules.
How we protect it
We use reasonable steps to keep your information safe, like limiting who on our team can see it and using services that protect data in storage and in transit. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be exposed, but we'll tell you if a problem affects your information and the law requires us to.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something for legal or business records, and if so, we'll tell you what and why.
Depending on where you live, including California, the law may give you more rights, like knowing what categories of information we collect and why, and not being treated differently for using those rights. We'll honor those requests when they apply to us. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on one, so we don't hand your details to the wrong person.
Children's information
This website is meant for adults arranging work on a home. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. This policy was last updated in November 2026.
How to reach us about privacy
If you have a question or concern about your information, or want to make one of the requests above, call us at (831) 243-7031 or use the form on our Contact page. We answer seven days a week, from 7 AM to 10 PM, and we respond within 1 business day.
